Professional life

Professional life

The professional integration of students is a priority at the Ecole supérieure Libre d’Art de Paris. Actions are thus carried out with students and graduates of the School.

During their schooling, students have a set of proposals aimed at knowledge and experience of the professional world.

– Training outside the school

During each year of study, students must complete a professional internship in which they put into practice the teaching received. The professional internships are carried out in France or abroad in appropriate organizations or companies corresponding, preferably to the chosen specialty. Regular follow-up with the tutor (internship teacher) and the school’s pedagogical coordinator is carried out during these periods. At the end of each internship, the student must write and submit a detailed activity report given to the school.

In the final year, the student must write and present a brief before the jury for the oral exam.

– Professional life cycle

As part of the cultural programming, a specific cycle is offered to students and young graduates. It aims to inform about the professional world chosen, its functioning and its new challenges, and to give additional tools for a better professional integration.

An introduction to the management of his professional life will be completed by individual counselling sessions. Several professionals of the taught specialties will be invited to lectures debates during the year.

– Resources : announcements of internships, jobs, calls for projects and competitions

The media library lists announcements of internships, jobs, calls for projects, residencies and competitions distributed to students each week.

– The school also promotes the development of creative projects offered to students by partner companies or institutions.

The future of graduates

– The graduate Observatory :

The observatory has been in place since the first school year. This monitoring system for ESLAP graduates makes it possible to federate all graduates and to develop a network of contacts with the world. Surveys are carried out in order to better assess their professional integration in all areas of expression of their skills.

An electronic newsletter presents their personal news, proposes a set of project calls and practical information to build their professional project and allows them to stay in touch with the life and news of the school, especially its cultural programming (Professional Life cycle) and its exhibitions.
